Seeking Love ~ Verses

God’s love is like a dewdrop,
that glistens in the sun
glowing in the warmth
from the light of His Son.

It’s a breath of fresh air,
full of the fragrance of spring
filling up the senses
with the beauty that it brings.

It’s as sturdy as an oak,
and as solid as a rock
firmly holding onto those
who gather as His flock.

It’s a taste of pure heaven,
a piece of pleasure and delight
to savor in the morning hours
and to enjoy throughout the night.

It’s as straight as an arrow,
that knows its intended mark
aiming for those who wander
to have a change of heart.

It’s as boundless as the ocean,
an endless mountain stream
flowing with living waters
that has no ridge or seam.

God’s love is as gentle as a Lamb,
so tender and so calm
for it brings comfort to the soul
like the soothing of a balm.

Seeking Joy ~ Verses

A Simple, Easy, Joy

A simple, easy joy,
a feeling full of bliss
an elation that I feel
a wonder not to miss.

A simple, calming feeling,
a happiness inside me
a serenity deep within
a heart full of glee.

A simple, warming feeling,
a joyfulness all around
a delight in every way
a tranquility to be found.

A simple, easy joy,
a feeling like no other kind,
a gladness when His peace
fills my heart and mind!

Seeking The Walk ~ Verses

I walk the walk of faith,
hand in hand with my Lord
and in my heart His word
I have put away and stored.

I trust and I believe,
He is always here with me
though at times it is dark
His light helps me to see.

When I falter in my belief,
and I’m not sure of the way
I rely on Him to be with me
and to hear me when I pray.

I know He’s always next to me,
and I’m never all alone
even though there are times
when I feel I’m on my own.

This walk of faith is simple,
but sometimes I make it hard
and when I take away the trust
my hopes get somewhat jarred.

I know I must be faithful,
to walk this walk with Him
for where there is not a doubt
His light won’t fade or dim!

Therefore my soul keeps them.
The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.”

The Real Reason . . .

May the blessing of joy abide within you,
and your delight in the Lord be for real
may the happiness that dwells inside
bring others to know His perfect will.

May the blessing of peace rest upon you,
and your tranquility a witness to your belief
may those you greet see the Spirit’s stillness
so they too, will want such a blessed relief.

May the blessing of love flow through you,
and your adoration for God shine bright
may the praise you have be heard by all
so they too, can know of His saving light.

May the blessing of eternal hope fill you,
and your message be loud and clear
may the truth that lives in your heart
bring others to see why Jesus came here.

May joy, peace, and love,
and all the other blessings of the season
be what you share and give to others
and help celebrate Christmas’ true reason!

Isaiah 7:13-14

“And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David;
Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but
will ye weary my God also?

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a
sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and
bear a son, and shall call his name
Immanuel.”

Seeking The Lord ~ Verses

Seek first the Kingdom of God,
keep your eyes on the things above
seek God with all your soul
and be filled with His mercy and love.

Seek the Lord with your whole heart,
let your requests be made known
seek after His holy righteousness
and your prayers will reach His throne.

Seek the Lord and do good,
diligently search out His living Word
wait for Him at wisdom’s gate
and He’ll shepherd you into His herd.

Seek the Lord and obey Him,
pursue peace in fairness and truth
seek the same God you have known
from the days of your youth.

Seek to be justified by Christ,
track down His name and His face
seek after His salvation
and you will find His amazing grace.

Seek God for all your strength,
and you will no longer be weak
but first you must remember
to seek . . . seek . . . seek!

Hello

Hello, to all of you who seek the Lord.

Isn’t seeking the Lord exciting? Isn’t something that gives you a warm and cozy feeling? It does me. When I walk away after spending time seeking the Lord, I feel joyful, I feel like the weight of the world has been taking off me. I walk away knowIng  that EVERYTHING is in His control.

One of my favorite Bible verses on seeking the Lord is Psalm 27:8 “When You said, “Seek My face, “My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”

To seek God’s face, to get a close look at Him and to see who He really is, can only be done when you read and study the Bible. When I do this, I come away with so much more knowledge of His wonder and power and feel so blessed that I have the opportunity to personally know my Lord and Savior.

Won’t you please seek the Lord with me, together we can find out all kinds of new and exciting things!
